Throughout history, racism has often included sexual domination as part of white supremacy. This includes the sexual abuse and sexual harassment of people of color by white people, as well as training people of color to think of themselves as animals, as someone else's property, as only good for work, and expendable...

Many of us come to SLAA because we have a problem, and we find community. It is a wonderful relief to know that we are not alone with our sex and love addiction. However, for some people of color, it may be difficult to be in a community that is predominantly white."
